Evan Alderman
Evan is an associate at TMA Law whose practice focuses on municipal, land use planning, and development law. Evan has appeared before the Ontario Land Tribunal and has experience with various levels of Court in Ontario, administrative tribunals, and municipal councils and committees.
After completing a Bachelor of Arts & Science with a Combined Honours in Political Science from McMaster University, Evan earned his Juris Doctor from the Lincoln Alexander School of Law and a Master of Arts in Planning from the University of Waterloo. During his legal studies, he achieved the highest standing in his year’s Municipal Law course offering and was an active member of his law school community, including contributing as a law review editor and teaching assistant.
Evan’s interdisciplinary background in planning and law has provided him with a strong understanding of the application and appeal stages of the land development process. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 2025, and prior to joining TMA Law, Evan articled and worked at a mid-size firm in the Niagara Region, where he acted for developers, municipalities, and property owners across a wide range of municipal, land use planning, and regulatory matters.
